Question Anyone interested in becoming a forum moderator?

Hi everyone. I'm not sure how many of you here on the forum are REAL people but if you're a real plain old fashion carbon based lifeform (aka person) then this post if for you.

What this forum needs above all at the moment is good moderation. I unfortunately do not have enough time to dedicate to constantly police the forum, and as a result spam bots and spam users take advantage of this and (as you can see) have littered the forum with spam.

As an online marketer I am sure you can appreciate and can tell the difference between legitimate advertising and what is blatant automated spam.

So I basically need a few moderators to help me out here to keep the forum clean of spam bots and non legitimate and abusive advertisers.

If you have the forum skills and the inclination for this please give me a shout!

Sure, I will take the job.

I have the experience, motivation, and I'm online about 15 hours per day anyway.

    Cool. Thanks!

I just changed your account to Super Moderator. As a super moderator you can basically do pretty much anything that's important on the forum except the low level admin stuff that you don't want to bother with anyway.

If you have any suggestions for improvements or vbulletin plugins that you recommend or anything at all feel free to contact me. I'm also thinking of creating a private moderators section that us moderators can use to hang out in, chat, etc.

Oh I forgot to mention that to log into your moderator control panel click on the "Mod" link at the bottom of the forum.

Great, I'm going to scan over everything and then pass-out, because it is midnight-thirty here. I will start tomorrow.

OK, this is going to be time-consuming, LOL

If we could get that Admin/Moderator forum, perhaps below your RSS feeds, I have a few questions, suggestions and ideas that I would like your feedback on.

Once I get the ball rolling, I should be able to do about 90% of the work.

I'm going to create that section right now.

If there are any vbulletin 4.0 plugins that can help us automate the heavy work let me know.

I should also mention that as of now all new member signups are held for moderation and approval.

OK, it's all done. You should be able to view it now.
